Yuantouzhu Island, or Turtle Head Isle, in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, will celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day with five firework shows.
The shows will be staged on Mid-Autumn Festival on Sept 10, Sept 12, National Day on Oct 1, Oct 3, and Oct 6, respectively, and each will last for 20 minutes.

In addition to creative fireworks, the firework show on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival will also hold an immersive light show, while the firework show on National Day will be themed on the integration of traditional Chinese culture and modern technologies.

Yuantouzhu Island, a national 5A scenic spot on Taihu Lake, is so named because it is shaped like a turtle's head. It is among the top 10 most popular attractions in China due to its cherry blossoms in spring.

Yuantouzhu Park, which is located at the most beautiful corner of Taihu Lake, is endowed with beautiful nature, boasting both green hills and crystal-clear water.
Tourists are encouraged to visit the scenic area during the spring season from March to May when all kinds of flowers and trees are in bloom.
